David J. Levy is honoured to be the Managing Partner of Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP. He held this role from 2014-22, and assumed it again at the end of 2024.
Unlike many other personal injury lawyers, David earned his reputation in the Courtroom, where, for over 25 years, he has been conducting Trials and Arbitrations to fight for his clients’ rights. As a result, numerous other personal injury firms in Ontario hire David to be their Trial Counsel on serious and complicated personal injury cases.
As a result of David’s reputation and expertise, he is regularly invited to teach other lawyers about the practice of personal injury law by leading legal organizations. He has been invited to teach the next generation of lawyers at Osgoode Hall Law School. He has been interviewed as a legal expert by prominent radio and television stations, and the leading national legal publication in Canada.
David is Certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario. He is recognized by Best Lawyers Canada and Lexpert as a leading lawyer in personal injury litigation. He holds membership positions in a number of professional associations and is routinely invited to speak at their conferences and seminars.
David is a die-hard Raptors fan, and has been from day one. He attends as many games as his work and family schedule will permit, and will forever cherish his picture with the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy.
