Two HSH Lawyers Honoured by OTLA

We are honoured to announce that two HSH personal injury lawyers, Kaitlyn MacDonell and Melissa Miller, have recently been recognized by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) for their advocacy and dedication to championing the cause of those who have suffered injury and injustice.

Kaitlyn MacDonell has been awarded the 2021 Martin Wunder, Q.C. Outstanding New Lawyer Award. This prestigious award is conferred on a lawyer who has practised law for less than 10 years and who has actively demonstrated a commitment to improving the legal system and its responsiveness to vulnerable plaintiffs through service to the profession and the community.

Melissa Miller has been awarded the 2021 Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her long-standing dedication to furthering the goals and ideals of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Kaitlyn and Melissa are the latest members of the firm to be recognized by OTLA – we are proud of their outstanding achievements and we offer our congratulations to all of this year’s award winners. Please visit the OTLA Awards page to see the full list of awards and recipients.

The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association is Ontario’s professional association for plaintiff lawyers and their law firm colleagues. OTLA’s 1400 members advocate for the rights of people who have suffered injury or loss, and to improve access to justice.
