HSH Sponsors Personal Injury Law Charity Hockey Challenge Team

Howie, Sacks & Henry is once again proud to support the 15th annual PI Lawyers Charity Hockey tournament by sponsoring a team in the event. The popular tournament returned to the ice for its 15th year on April 20, 2023.

The Canadian Spinal Research Organization or the CRSO, aims for targeted research to maximize recovery and cure paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. All proceeds of this hockey challenge will go to the Canadian Spinal Research Organization’s “Shoot for a Cure” (SFAC) campaign. The SFAC is a fundraising campaign in an effort to reduce spinal cord injuries and neurotrauma in hockey, all while funding research to discover a cure for paralysis prompted by spinal cord injury.

HSH’s very own founding Partner Michael Henry, previously put together the hockey challenge for a number of years, and we are grateful to continue our participation in this key event.

Partner, Howard Blitstein coached the team to a bronze medal finish. As Howard puts it “We beat the defending Champs in game two, but didn’t have enough gas to win game three.”
