March 4, 2021 – Renée Vinett and Essure Lawsuit Featured on CBC’s Fifth Estate

Renee Vinett being interviewed on TV

Renée Vinett was interviewed on a recent episode of The Fifth Estate, speaking about the multiple challenges that her clients have experienced in their quest for justice after suffering debilitating health problems associated with the Essure permanent birth control device.

Renée described the difficulties her clients face in convincing their own doctors of the extent of their suffering; and explained how a lack of communication between doctors, regulators and Bayer has prevented the full scope of the problem from coming to light.

Although she spoke calmly, Renée’s passion and commitment to achieving “justice for these women… who’ve lost so much” was clearly evident, along with her frustration at a lack of information that meant her clients and their doctors “were left in the dark” about the long-term risks of the device.
