In October, HSH was a proud supporter of the Ken Sykes Run/Walk benefiting the Reach for Success Bursary program. Ken Sykes was a true champion of children. He was an active member of Quinte Children’s Foundation Board of Directors for seven years. Unfortunately Ken left us much too early. Quinte Children’s Foundation created the Ken Sykes Run/Walk and all proceeds are designated to the Reach for Success Bursary program remembering that Ken worked hard to ensure all children had the opportunity to accomplish their goals.
To date, more than $60,000 has been raised through this event to directly benefit the children within our communities who would like to pursue a post-secondary education.
It was a fabulous family event, with music, tasty snacks and great prizes for top runners and fundraiser. Plan to participate next year!
