HSH Associate Daniel Fisher will be co-presenting a session, ‘Class Action Litigation as a Strategy for Responding to Elder Abuse and Neglect in Long-Term Care’ as part of the Elder Law Update 2022 program being held on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Daniel and his co-presenter David Klein of Klein Lawyers LLP in Vancouver will speak about key considerations in the litigation process such as the differences between mass tort and class action lawsuits, investigations, liability theories, changes to the Ontario Class Proceedings Act, and more. Daniel is stepping in for original speaker, HSH Partner Melissa Miller, who is appearing in court this week.
