Ashlee’s practice focuses on class actions, mass torts, and advocating for survivors of institutional abuse. She has represented clients at all levels of Ontario’s trial and appellate courts, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Ashlee brings a trauma-informed approach to every aspect of her work, with a deep commitment to ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. She understands that behind every case is a story that matters—and she is passionate about helping clients tell those stories in the pursuit of justice.
Before focusing on class actions, Ashlee practiced family law, where she developed a strong foundation in advocacy during emotionally charged and high-stakes disputes. That experience sharpened her ability to stand firm for her clients with compassion, clarity, and conviction.
Ashlee is also a writer at heart, and she believes in the transformative power of narrative—whether on the page or in the courtroom. She draws on this storytelling instinct in her legal work, crafting persuasive arguments that honour her clients’ experiences while advancing their legal rights.
