Since joining the firm in January 2020, Samantha has established herself as an effective and compassionate advocate for individuals and families affected by medical malpractice and birth injuries. Her practice centers on complex medical malpractice cases, with a focus on obstetrical negligence and catastrophic spinal cord injuries. Samantha represents young children with severe birth injuries and is dedicated to securing accountability and long-term care for her clients. Her experience in complex litigation also includes catastrophic motor vehicle claims, products liability, and other areas of litigation involving life-altering injuries.

Samantha has served as trial counsel on several complex cases and is recognized for her strategic approach, thorough preparation, and dedication to her clients. Working alongside Neil Sacks, she has contributed to significant outcomes for victims of medical negligence, including numerous multi-million-dollar settlements for birth injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other catastrophic harms.

Beyond her legal practice, Samantha is a respected leader in the medical malpractice bar. She serves as a Board member of the American Association for Justice and has held leadership roles with the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, including Vice Chair of its Medical Malpractice Section. She is also active with the Brain Injury Society of Toronto through committee work and previously served on its Board of Directors.

Samantha is a sought-after speaker and educator who has chaired and presented at leading conferences on medical malpractice litigation, damages, and trial advocacy.

“Samantha’s admission to the partnership reflects her exceptional legal skill, her leadership within the profession, and her deep commitment to clients facing life altering injuries,” said Neil Sacks. “She embodies our firm’s values and our ongoing dedication to excellence in medical malpractice advocacy.”

HSH congratulates Samantha on this well deserved achievement and looks forward to her continued leadership and impact as a partner of the firm.
