HSH partners and staff gathered to provide a hot, healthy community dinner to hungry Toronto residents on May 18th. The Law Society of Upper Canada opens its cafeteria four days a week. We served 427 meals without spilling a drop.
Thank you to organizer Amanda Ross (pictured right) for her tireless efforts in keeping the program going.
HSH is committed to The Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program and, in addition to financially supporting this dinner, we have also raised funds for this worthy cause through the Annual Bugsy & Ken Charity Golf Tournament taking place on June 15, 2016.
As a personal injury law firm, we feel it’s important to help the community and this is one of the efforts that we support.
About Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program
The Lawyers Feed the Hungry Programs fight hunger year-round in Toronto, London, Ottawa and Windsor. Through the generosity of donors and the tireless support of volunteers, they are able to provide meals to the hungry and financial support to charitable agencies that help with hunger relief.
The Toronto Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program has been running since 1998. This important year-round program, providing more than 60,000 meals a year, is made possible thanks to generous donations to The Law Society Foundation and the work of our committed volunteers.
