The entire team at Howie, Sacks & Henry would like to congratulate our friend, Frank Bruno, for participating in the 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay.

Frank is an acquired brain injury (ABI) survivor and a true inspiration to all. In 1986, Frank suffered a severe accident at work. Doctors initially gave him little chance of recovery. However, after several weeks of therapy, Frank was able to walk on his own.

Prior to the accident, Frank was an accomplished athlete. In 1988, he began competing in Sport for the Disabled, placing second in both 100m and 200m Provincial Championships. In 1989, he placed first not only in those two races, but also in long jump and shot put. In the following years, Frank went on to compete in the Paralympics and win numerous medals and awards for his incredible athletic talents.
