Tea ImageHowie, Sacks & Henry was proud to be the food sponsor of the Inaugural Afternoon Tea event.

This special event combined one of the best afternoon teas in Toronto with the practice mindfulness and networking with other professionals.

The practice of mindfulness is a great self care tool to help you stay focused in the moment: stay calm, gain clarity, improve your sleep and happiness.

Decked in stylish hats the ladies at the HSH table enjoyed the afternoon festivities.

At this Inaugural Afternoon Tea, we experienced the delicious food the Old Mill has to offer, sipped tea and learned from self care and mindfulness experts Colleen Carter, Celia Missios and Jaisa Sulit.

As a bonus we learned the difference between Afternoon Tea and High Tea as well as proper tea etiquette to help enjoy the experience.

Funds raised went towards supporting BIST’s programs and services, such as our social drop-in, community meetings, workshops and support groups.
