HSH is pleased to act as Host Sponsor at the 2021-2022 Tort Law Moot. In addition to our sponsorship, Senior Partner Adam Wagman will participate as a judge at the Moot which takes place on Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19, 2022.
This is the inaugural year of the Tort Law Moot which is designed to promote advocacy and excellence in the fields of tort and insurance law. Six teams of upper-year law students from Ontario law schools will argue a problem that incorporates an invented fact pattern based on recent defamation case law. The moot offers participants the opportunity to engage with judges and senior lawyers.
