HSH is proud to announce the upcoming release of a riveting feature-length documentary featuring our very own Melissa Miller. Stolen Time puts a spotlight on Melissa’s pursuit of justice for victims of the corporate for-profit nursing home industry. Her tireless campaign for transparency and accountability from an industry notoriously lacking in both is truly inspirational.
Directed by award-winning documentarian Helene Klodawsky, Stolen Time is more than a film – it’s a clarion call for change. Shedding light on the urgent crisis in elder care settings, it implores Canadians to consider what reforms are necessary to protect some of the country’s most vulnerable citizens.
Coming to Hot Docs’ Ted Rogers DOC SOUP in Toronto on April 2, 2024, and April 3, 2024 at 6:30pm, Stolen Time will be touring film festivals across Canada.
Be sure to get tickets to see this important film in theatres while you can! Tickets go on sale March 14, 2024.
As a firm deeply committed to advocacy for the injured and populations at risk of injury, we’re immensely proud of Melissa’s involvement and recognition in Stolen Time. Her continued efforts to bring justice to people affected by nursing home negligence are an inspiration to all of us.
