HSH Partner Melissa Miller was featured on Global News, on September 15, 2021, speaking about the major party platforms and their plans for improving living and working conditions in the long-term care sector.
Although several politicians have argued that long-term care is regulated at the provincial level, Melissa noted that the federal government does have the power to impose national standards, and that the advocacy group Canadians4LTC (which she co-founded) has developed proposed legislation that would implement meaningful change across the country.
