Howie, Sacks & Henry is proud to support the annual Bugsy & Ken Charity golf tournament as a hole sponsor. The popular golf tournament honours the memories of David (“Bugsy”) Newman, QC and Ken Danson with proceeds going to support the Lawyers Feed the Hungry program.
This year’s tournament was held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Wyndance Golf Club in Uxbridge. In addition to the hole sponsorship, Senior Partner Adam Wagman also invited a foursome of golfers to enjoy the tournament with him.
The Lawyers Feed the Hungry meal program is active in nine cities in Ontario, including downtown Toronto. Every week, the Law Society Foundation provides hot nutritious meals to individuals living with poverty and homelessness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Law Society Foundation has transitioned to serving takeout boxed meals, but the program’s supporters and volunteers are more committed than ever to serving the community in this time of great need. We encourage everyone to consider contributing to this worthy cause.
