HSH Partner Melissa Miller is a founding member of Canadians4LTC, an advocacy group whose members have been personally impacted by the neglect and abuse of family members in Canadian nursing homes.
Every Tuesday beginning March 2, 2021 through to April 20, 2021 Canadians4LTC will be hosting a weekly Town Hall series to discuss national standards for long-term care.
The first town hall will feature special guest Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, and a special announcement. Future guest speakers will include other federal party leaders, MPs, doctors, nurses, PSWs, family members and more. The town halls will be live streamed on YouTube and Facebook, and recordings of the events will be posted on the Canadians4LTC YouTube channel.
