Tania Harris will be co-presenting a session, “Implicit Bias – Recognize, Challenge, Interrupt” at the Brain Injury Canada Conference on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
Tania and her co-presenter, Nakema Walker of the Ontario Rehab Alliance Black Network, will be discussing the impact of implicit biases in a medical setting, and the ways biases affect interactions with patients and clients. The goal of the presentation is to help audience members recognize biases, and to learn how to challenge and interrupt those patterns.
Tania and Nakema will be available to continue this important conversation at Howie, Sacks & Henry’s virtual conference booth after the presentation. Please stop by and say hello – you can find us in the virtual exhibition hall.
