How Are Referral Arrangement and Fees Handled?

HSH LLP ensures our referral arrangements are compliant and referral fees are paid promptly in accordance with the Law Society of Ontario.

Licensees are required to use the Law Society’s Referral Agreement, which is to be provided to the client at the time of the referral or as soon as practicable after the referral. Licensees must ensure clients receive the document entitled Law Society Requirements for Referral Fees – What Clients Need to Know and permit the client to have reasonable opportunity to review and consider this information.
