HSH Partners, James Howie and Adam Wagman participated in the Enbridge Ride again this year, the 10th anniversary of the ride.
The Ride is 200-kilometre cycling journey through the Canadian countryside, this year held on June 10/11.
The point, of course, is to honour those who have had the misfortune to have had cancer come in to their lives, and to honour their courageous struggles.
In particular, Jim rode again to honour 2 people, his assistant for almost 30 years, Anna, who has had her struggle with cancer result in successful remission, and his partner’s mother who unfortunately passed away in 2014 from cancer.
Adam was riding for his 10th year in honour of many family members and friends who have battled this terrible disease, and in particular his father in law, Leo, who was taken by cancer just over a year ago. He was proud to be a part of Steve’s Cyclepaths, whose team raised $1.2 million.
Thanks to your generous support they both reached their fundraising goals.
