Community Involvement

At Howie, Sacks & Henry, our values dictate our behaviours.

As leading advocates for accident victims and their families, we believe in extending support to associations that have the mandate of helping accident victims as well as other broader charitable causes. We believe in developing relationships with these organizations and working together for better outcomes.

Through sponsorships, charitable funding, and volunteer activities, we ‘walk the talk’, hoping that every step and every initiative will help make someone’s life a little easier.

We support a number of community based organizations, but we have built close relationships with a few who are special in our hearts:

Established in 2006, the ThinkFirst Injury Prevention Strategy for Youth (TIPSY) program is a half day injury prevention program offered throughout the academic year to high school students (grades 11 & 12) in the GTA. The goal is to help youth understand how driver inexperience, lack of restraint use, and drinking/drugging while driving can result in tragedy on the roadways.

Senior Partner Adam Wagman, spoke recently to a group of high school students at the TIPSY program. His message: Don’t drink and drive, don’t text and drive, be smart and make good decisions. Watch his video.

Three To Be

Howie, Sacks & Henry was so proud of our strategic partnership with THREE TO BE.

THREE TO BE, which closed its doors at the beginning of 2018, was committed to advocate and raise funds and advance the development of innovative research, education, and therapies for children with neurological disorders.

HSH Receives Corporate Champion Award

We were proud to have been awarded THREE TO BE’s Corporate Champion award for our dedication to the Three TO BE’s PAL community.

Parent Advocacy Link (PAL)

HSH was particularly proud of THREE TO BE’s commitment to families through their Parent Advocacy Link (PAL) program. We contribute to the program by providing legal education and support, helping parents get answers to some tough questions.

If you are a parent, caregiver or someone who works with children with neurological disorders, the THREE TO BE Parent Advocacy Link (PAL) provides information, support and a secure online forum to share.
