Community Involvement

As leading advocates for accident victims and their families, we believe in extending support to associations that have the mandate of helping accident victims as well as other broader charitable causes. We believe in developing relationships with these organizations and working together for better outcomes.
Through sponsorships, charitable funding, and volunteer activities, we ‘walk the talk’, hoping that every step and every initiative will help make someone’s life a little easier.
We support a number of community based organizations, but we have built close relationships with a few who are special in our hearts:

Shendy’s Swim School – No Push Movement
The No Push Movement™ (NPM) began as an injury prevention campaign out of concern for campers and staff who were unexpectedly pushing others into the water at various summer camps across Ontario. This behaviour was common on pool decks and at waterfronts. Many individuals had been injured, and some had even been hospitalized as a result of these pushes. The movement aims to raise awareness about the importance of safety around water not just for those at camps but for everyone.
HSH is dedicated to injury prevention and promoting safer practices. We aim to educate the public about injury prevention strategies, promote safety measures, and advocate for policies that minimize injuries and their impact on individuals and communities.

Lawyers Feed the Hungry
The Lawyers Feed the Hungry Meal program, in collaboration with the Law Society Foundation, provides hot, nutritious meals to individuals facing poverty and homelessness.
This initiative, supported by the legal community, aims to create a compassionate environment for those experiencing food insecurity. The program serves over 1,200 meals weekly and relies entirely on charitable donations.
Howie, Sacks & Henry proudly supports this program through initiatives such as the annual Bugsy & Ken Charity Golf Tournament and sponsoring a Meal Service, where HSH staff volunteers serve approximately 750 meals to the homeless over two days.

The Women’s Law Association of Ontario (WLAO)

Howie, Sack & Henry LLP is proud to partner with the WLAO by sponsoring the HSH Emerging Leader Award.
