On March 4, 2009, 76 players from the personal injury bar participated in the 3rd Annual Personal Injury Bar Charity Hockey Challenge, put on by Michael Henry of HSH. Six teams, including the Beard Winter Sharks, the York Street Stars, Neinstein Stars, McKellar Sharks, Bergmanis Stars, and the York Street Bull Dogs (from the Hamilton region), duked it out on the ice.

The York Street Stars, made up of players Brian Grant, Charles Gluckstein, Dave Hollingsworth, Douglas Strelshik, John Rossos, Michael Henry, Michael O'Connor, Paul Fox, Rob Deutschmann, Robert Gabor, Troy Lehman, William Teggart and Stuart Wright, carried the day. MVPs of the tournament were Casey Van Moorlehan (goalie), John Adair (forward) and William Teggart (defence).
